Claudia Sheinbaum Received Lee Jae-Myung, President of the Republic of Korea, at the National Palace

Mexico City. Minutes before 10 in the morning, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo received the leader of the Republic of Korea, Lee Jae-Myung, at the main door of the National Palace.
After greeting each other and observing a group of citizens who expressed their support for the Mexican president, both entered the historic building. The official welcoming ceremony for the Korean head of state was held in the Patio de Honor.
The military band performed the national anthems of Mexico and the Republic of Korea, as part of the reception protocol that this type of official visit calls for.
Before going into the bilateral meeting they will hold, the two leaders posed for the official photograph.
During the mañanera, the president indicated that they will discuss trade, cultural, and educational matters. They will sign a memorandum of understanding on that subject.
The head of state of the Asian nation is making an official visit to Mexico.
