Mexico Says No Evidence, Not Investigating US President Trump’s Accusations Against Venezuelan President Maduro

Mexico City. In response to the U.S. government’s announcement that it will increase the international reward for the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro for his alleged ties to the Sinaloa Cartel, President Claudia Sheinbaum maintained that there is no news of this alleged connection in Mexico, nor is there any investigation into it.
When questioned on this issue, Sheinbaum completely ruled out Mexico having any information about these ties. “If they have any evidence, they can present it, but we don’t have any evidence related to those ties.”
