Mexico City. Morena’s national leader, Ariadna Montiel, criticized the PAN’s Jorge Romero Herrera for spending days touring Europe, on visits across foreign territory, to seek there the support they lost in Mexico.

In a message on her social media, Ariadna Montiel said that “it is telling that, just as a new electoral process begins, the leadership of Acción Nacional headed by Romero prefers to build territory” thousands of kilometers from Mexico.

She added that the PAN’s problem “is not abroad: it is in the country project they represent: none.”

The Morena member drew a contrast with the blue-and-whites, who “knock on doors abroad to try to build a legitimacy that the Mexican people have not given them.”

The PAN leader Jorge Romero has spent days touring Europe “seeking abroad what they long ago lost in Mexico: the support of the people.”
