The Constitution Puts the People Back at the Center
With 27 constitutional amendments and 76 legislative reforms, Mexico has regained its sovereignty, rights, and the social thrust of its Constitution. Progress is also being made on republican austerity, the fight against nepotism and reelection, popular participation, and audience rights vis a vis the media.

Regaining Sovereignty Means Reclaiming What Belongs to the People
The Fourth Transformation (4T) strengthened Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) and the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), recovered passenger rail service, protected native corn and water resources, and placed limits on foreign interference. President Claudia Sheinbaum added that “we have restored the social thrust of the Constitution.”

From Neoliberal Welfare Handouts to Well-Being Enshrined in Law
The Well-Being Programs, fundamental equality for women, and a life free from violence are now enshrined in the Constitution. By 2026, spending on Well-Being will reach one trillion pesos (US$58.90 billion), the result of austerity, honesty, and a government that transforms public resources into rights.

No Young Person Should Be Left Without an Education
Mexico has opened 245,000 new spaces in public higher education and can still add an additional 35,000. Sheinbaum added that “no young person who wants to study should be left without the opportunity to do so.”

Cooperation, Yes; Interference, Never
Mexico maintains cooperation with the United States with tangible results. Homicides have fallen by 51% thanks to coordination by the Security Cabinet. In response to any attempt to interfere in internal affairs, Sheinbaum was clear, declaring that “sovereignty is sovereignty.”
