42.8 Million Mexicans: Well-Being Has Become a Right
With spending of more than 1 trillion pesos (US$59.08 billion), the Fourth Transformation (4T) guarantees direct assistance to the beneficiaries of the government’s social programs. Among them, 13.7 million seniors receive 6,400 pesos (US$378) every two months. Rights are maintained and expanded. The next step will be to provide more scholarships and stipends to college students.

Well-Being That Reaches Households and Communities
The 4T brings rights to the people. There have been 23 million “Health House-to-House” healthcare visits, and more than 445,000 farmers receive 6,450 pesos (US$381) monthly. All these programs share the same conviction: the poor come first.

After lifting 13.7 million Mexicans out of poverty, the goal is for the minimum wage to cover 2.5 times the cost of the basic food basket.
