Mexican public TV station Canal Once‘s break-out hit, the current affairs program Sin Muros, is now available in English. The program explores the Mexico-United States relationship from a decidedly left perspective with Mexico Solidarity Media‘s José Luis Granados Ceja and Kurt Hackbarth (also co-hosts of Soberanía: The Mexican Politics Podcast), and Alina Duarte, Melissa Jaramillo and Jesús García; covering news, analysis and culture to connect both sides of the border.
With US President Donald Trump threatening tarrifs against Mexico, a second left-wing administration in power in Mexico backed by a millions-strong political party, and a multipolar world rapidly taking shape, there’s never been a more perfect time for a program that takes US imperialism’s intentions, Mexico’s sovereignty and the reality of cross-border solidarity seriously.
