On Saturday, October 28th, Chilangos marched in solidarity with Palestine from the Angel of Indepence to the Zócalo, where they read a statement addressed to the people of Mexico and the international community highlighting the imperialist occupation of Palestine since 1948, and asking the government of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to condemn the genocide of the Palestinian people at the hands of the State of Israel and request the breaking of diplomatic, political, economic and military relations with the fascist government of Benjamin Netanyahu. The statement also requested humanitarian aid be sent from Mexico to Gaza.
