Mexican Supreme Court Justice Lenia Batres Demands Release of Mexicans in Global Sumud Flotilla

Supreme Court Justice Lenia Batres Guadarrama called on Wednesday for the “immediate and unconditional release” of the activists detained by Israel at sea as they headed toward Gaza aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla carrying humanitarian aid.
“I want to express my solidarity with the members of the Sumud Global Flotilla, who, on a strictly humanitarian mission, were intercepted by Israeli forces while en route to Gaza to deliver food and medicine to its civilian population.

“Humanitarian aid is not a crime, which is why I join the urgent demand for the immediate and unconditional release of all activists, particularly our fellow citizens who, with enormous courage, joined this cause for life,” she posted on social media.
