Lucía Guadalupe Mora, Morena Political Liaison & Teacher, Murdered in Chihuahua

Chihuahua, Chihuahua. Teacher Lucía Guadalupe Mora Ávalos, a member of Morena in the municipality of Valle de Allende, Chihuahua, and identified as the party’s political liaison in that area, died in an armed attack on Tuesday night.
Personnel from the State Investigation Agency responded to the report of the homicide, which occurred on Benito Juárez Street in the municipal capital.
The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Attention to Women Victims of Crime for Gender and Family Reasons in the southern zone, reported that the victim, identified as Lucía Guadalupe MA, 53 years old, presented wounds caused by a projectile from a firearm in different parts of the body.
She was found inside a blue Honda HRV SUV.
Specialists from the Forensic Services Unit processed the scene, where they secured several .380 caliber and 9mm shell casings.
The body was transferred to the Forensic Medical Service to perform the corresponding autopsy.
For its part, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Attention to Women Victims of Crimes for Gender and Family Reasons initiated the investigation work to clarify the facts.
The leadership of Morena has not commented on the murder of Lucía Guadalupe Mora, nor has it specified her position within the party’s organizational structure.
