2,400 km of New Passenger Rail Lines
President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that an additional 2,400 km of passenger rail lines have been laid, representing an investment of 750 billion pesos (US$42.90 billion) and creating 88,000 direct jobs. “The Transformation brought about the revival of passenger rail service”, with greater regional connectivity, more jobs, and shorter travel times, she said.

Social Programs Reach Millions of Households
In Mexico, more than 4 out of every 10 households receive at least one government social program, 41.4% of the total. In addition, access to social security and healthcare increased from 77.1% of families in 2020 to 86.6% in 2025.

Mexico: No to Foreign Interference in Brazil
Sheinbaum emphasized that Brazilian President Lula fulfilled his “Zero Hunger” commitment and reiterated her support for the principle of self-determination. “There should be no foreign interference in any election in any country. In Brazil, let the Brazilians decide freely,” she declared.

To Represent Mexico, a Single Citizenship
Regarding the approved constitutional reform, Sheinbaum maintained that it does not take away the rights of Mexicans living abroad. “To be president, you cannot swear allegiance to two flags. You represent Mexico and no one else,” she stated.
